Individuals interested in applying for the state examination to get a Sales Agent license must enroll in three statutory licensing courses: Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and one elective course.
Sales
agents who were issued a conditional license by the Department
of Real Estate (DRE) prior to October 1, 2007 must complete two
statutory licensing courses within 18 months of receiving their
conditional sales license.
Sales
agents who were issued a license by the DRE prior to October 1, 2007 renewing their license at the first 4-year point are
only required to complete 15 hours of continuing education. All other sales agent renewals
require 45 hours of continuing
education.
