Fees Payable to the DRE

Individuals holding both an Individual and Corporate/Officer Broker License need to file and pay for each renewal separately. The fee amounts are the same for both types of Broker Licenses.

On-time renewal: $300
Late renewal: $450

License Renewal Timelines

Licensees must renew their licenses every four years. Continuing Education Courses may be taken any time in the four years prior to the license expiration date, but the actual DRE renewal may not be filed earlier than 90 days before the license expiration date.

The DRE gives all licensees a two-year grace period after license expiration to complete continuing education requirements and file a renewal. License renewed during the two-year grace period are subject to the late renewal fee.
