Confirm your CE completion has been banked with the NMLS
For On-Time CE
- firsttuesday will bank your credits within one business day, and send you an email confirmation of the banking.
- The NMLS can take up to two business days to mark your endorsement as eligible to renew
For Late CE
- For late CE, firsttuesday will report your CE completion within one to two business days
- The NMLS may take up to five business days to bank the credit to make you eligible to renew
- firsttuesday will send you an email confirmation when banked, or when eligible for renewal

- The NMLS requires you to attest to the current status of your endorsement, and pay fees
- When your endorsement shows you are eligible to renew, your credits are on file with the NMLS.

Corporate and Officer MLO Endorsement Renewal
- Your officer endorsement needs to be renewed with the NMLS before you can renew your corporate endorsement
- You need to complete CE for your officer endorsement which satisfies your corporation endorsement
Renewal Periods
- The NMLS Renewal Period runs from November 1 to December 31 every year
- DRE Licensees with an MLO endorsement may take NMLS CE any time during the year
- DRE MLO endorsement renewal requires MLOs to notice DRE of their NMLS renewal during an annual Reinstatement Period from January 1 to February 28. DRE does not charge a fee for notice
- DRE MLO endorsees who fail to renew their MLO endorsements by the end of the Endorsement Reinstatement Period need to reapply for the MLO endorsement
- They must take "late NMLS CE", but do not need to retake any prelicensing education
DRE Annual NMLS Renewal Fees
- All fees are paid through the NMLS. For the official DRE NMLS fee schedule, click here.
- Individual Salesperson or Broker (individual or officer) endorsement: $300 DRE fee + $30 NMLS processing fee
- Corporate endorsement: $300 DRE fee + $100 NMLS processing fee
- Sole proprietorship endorsement: $0 DRE fee + $100 NMLS processing fee
- Branch endorsement: $0 DRE fee + $20 NMLS processing fee
- DRE does not charge an additional fee for reinstatement
DFPI Annual NMLS Renewal Fees
- Individual Mortgage Loan Originator: $300 DFPI fee + $30 NMLS processing fee (+ $100 DFPI reinstatement fee, when license is renewed during the reinstatement period)
- CFLL Company License: $0 DFPI fee + $100 NMLS processing fee
- CRMLA Company License: $0 DFPI fee + $100 NMLS processing fee
- Branch endorsement: $0 DFPI fee + $20 NMLS processing fee
- All fees listed above are paid through the NMLS. CFLL and CRMLA companies have to pay additional annual fees to DFPI, depending on their company size and activity
